Wedding Card using Stampin' Up! Love Story Project Life for Stamping and Blogging

Today's share shows a different way to use some of the Project Life cards from Stampin' Up!. I have created a wedding card using the beautiful Love Story card collection and based on this weeks sketch from Stamping and Blogging.

Stampin Up Love Story Project Life Wedding Card by Claire Daly Stampin Up Australia

I have to be honest and say I found this week's sketch a little tricky. I just felt I needed another shape to break up the rectangles, so I cut a heart from the cardstock vellum and added that. I find this a subtle way to add a layer. I was much happier when the vellum heart was in place.I have listed al the products I have used in this week's card in the links below.

Here is the sketch that Sandi gave us to work with this week.

I'm really looking forward to see what the fabulous Stamping and Blogging girls around the world have done with this sketch. A couple of the girls are having a little break this week, but still plenty of inspiration! Hop on over to their blogs and have a look. Such fabulous talented ladies and viewing their creations each week is so inspiring to me.

Stampin' Up! Festival of Trees for Stamping and Blogging

Today's card was inspired by the weekly sketch from Stamping and Blogging, SB73. Each week myself and the rest of the design team right around the world blog hop around our take on the sketch. I have chosen Festival of Trees stamp and matching punch from the 2014 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue to use this week.

I know I have been using this matching stamp set and punch a lot, but it's just SO versatile it always seems to fit what I have in mind. The trees look great stamped and punched, or even just punched from patterned paper. I have used a combination here.

The beautiful die cut 'Joy' word can be found in the Wonderful Wreath framelits pack, along with some other elements. I have also used one of my favourite Stampin' Up! Christmas embossing folders, Northern Flurry. You can find links to all of the products I have used in this weeks card at the end of the post.

Here's the sketch we had to play with this week.

Now it's time to visit all the lovely Stamping and Blogging Design Team girls around the world to see their interpretation of the sketch.

Blog Renovation

If things seem kind of weird around here this week (well weirder than normal :) ), don't panic! I'm renovating my blog design and things should be completed over the next week. It's always good to keep things evolving and fresh, don't you think?

Have a happy week,

Claire

Stampin' Up! Get Your Santa On

Today I have another card for you featuring Get Your Santa On from the 2014 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue in Australia.

Stampin Up Get Your Santa On, Claire Daly Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Melbourne Australia

It's a great set to colour. I used my blender pens and the ink from the inside of the stamp pads to colour these. Lots of other new Holiday catalogue products on these cards including the yummy new Cherry Cobbler Linen Ribbon (1" wide and such an awesome texture!), and the Trim The Tree paper Stack (48 card front double sided pieces of DSP for just $11.95).  You can check these all out below. The Decor Framelits are a perfect fit for the little red man!

Here's a look at the stamp set. Lots of little pieces you can add here and there. The greetings are really fun too.

Stampin' Up! Flower Patch and Flower Fair Framelits

Time for some flower power today, with the matching Stampin' Up! Flower Patch stamps and Flower fair Framelits from the 2014 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue.

Stampin Up Flower Patch Stamp Set and Flwer Flair Framelits by Claire Daly Stampin Up Demonstrator Melbourne Australia www.clairedaly.typepad.com

This is a beautiful set to stamp with and perfect for two-step stamping as there are so many images which can be layered (there are actually nineteen stamps in the stamp set). I found the Framelits easy to line up as well. The colours I have stamped are Rich Razzleberry (also the background card colour), Strawberry Slush, Calypso Coral, Blush Blossom and Old Olive for the leaves.
