Stampin' Up! Festival of Trees and Endless Wishes for SB69
August 20, 2014
Hello friends. Today I'm sharing a sneak peek of a couple of sets from the 2014 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue. The products from this catalogue are available to purchase in Australia from August 28th. So many of my demo friends are saying this is the best Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue ever and I think I agree (contact me if you would like one sent out). This card is based on this weeks Stamping and Blogging Sketch SB69. I always look forward to seeing what the fabulous design team come up with each week.
I had all sorts of problems photographing this card well. I was a bit disorganised today so ended up doing it this evening so it was difficult to catch the true colour and sparkle. I've used shimmer white cardstock as well. Love the weight and subtle shimmer of this off white card.
The trees are stamped using the Photopolymer set Festival of Trees and it's super cool matching Christmas Tree punch! The washi tape and DSP are part of the new All is Calm range and the snowflakes (from Endless Wishes stamp set), trees and greeting have been stamped in Lost Lagoon, Pool Party and Smoky Slate to match.
I highlighted three of the snowflakes by over-stamping with the smaller snowflake in Smoky Slate, adding one of the cool new frosted snowflake sequins from the All is Calm product suite, and added an adhesive rhinestone on top.
Here's the sketch we had to work with for this weeks challenge.
Now it's time to head off around the world and see what the fabulous Stamping and Blogging design team girls have done with the sketch:
Claire Daly Australia (that's me!)
Caroline van der Straaten. Netherlands
Patrice Halliday-Larson, New Zealand

I love this! Great colors and I bet that the card is even more beautiful in real life, those shimmery papers are really hard to photograph. :) I can't wait to play with this new stamp set, thanks for the inspiration!
