Stampin' Up! Bright and Beautiful Christmas Card and Star Decoration

Hello lovelies. Feeling festive? I was yesterday while Iwas playing with this fabulous new bundle in the 2014 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue. It's called Bright and Beautiful, and it's been released a month earlier than the catalogue at a special 15% off bundle price. It will be in the holiday catalogue but you wont be able to get it at the discounted bundle price.

Here is my Christmas card and star bauble / decoration I was able to make with this bundle.

Stampin' Up! Bright and Beautiful Christmas Card and Star Decoration

I have stamped the star image in Cherry Cobbler onto Typeset DSP for the layers. The centre layer is gold embossing on crumb cake. I also twirled some linen thread in there for some extra texture.

Brght and beautiful cherry cobbler close up.

For the star decoration, I attached this to some cardstock to make it firmer. To make these star decorations, you just need two of the largest stars. Then score the centre of each point through to the opposite indented 'v' point. Do this with all 5 points on each side. Then fold the scores on the points outwards and the valleys inwards. Finally join both stars together with Fast Fuse.

If you love this bundle, grab it for 15% off before the special ends on August 31st (you will be able to buy the stamp set and star framelits individually after that date). Just click on the product links below under the signature.

BigShot 3

There are other bundles available at 15% off too, as part of the Big Shot Free Bundle promotion. You can either buy the bundles at 15% during August, or get one FREE when you purchase a BigShot.

View the Bigshot Promotion products (including the bright and beautiful bundle) in the online store.

Have a happy day and see you back here soon,

Claire
