Stampin' Up! What's Up? with Flashback DSP

Today's share features a brand new set from the Stampin' Up! 2014 Annual Catalogue called What's Up?. It's perfect for male / masculine cards too. I have teamed it with Flashback Designer Series Paper with the cool colour combination of Basic Black, Crushed Curry, Real Red and Pool Party.

I love the cool combination of arrows in this set, which also makes it a great set to use with Project Life by Stampin' Up!.

I made these cards before the matching punch for this stamp set became available. I now LOVE this punch and use it all the time in cards, scrapbooking and Project Life. You can view or grab this punch in my online store HERE.

Stampin' Up! Mixed Bunch and Lovely Lace Embossing Folder for SB65

Today I have a very bright and out there card, a little different from my normal vintage style. I wanted to showcase the new Stampin' Up! Lovely Lace embossing folder which is just beautiful. The layout for this card comes from this weeks Stamping and Blogging sketch SB65.

My colours are Blackberry Bliss, Tangelo Twist (both new 2014-16 In Colours), Coastal Cabana and Silver. The flower comes from Mixed Bunch (and the matching Blossom Punch), and my greeting is from a cool new Stampin' Up! set called @SoSocial. Here's a closer look at the Lovely Lace embossing folder.

CASEing the Catty Stampin' Up! Challenges

I'm excited to have another opportunity to share my Stampin' Up! creative projects as part of the design team for an all new challenge blog, called CASEing the Catty. I love the idea behind the challenges by the lovely Bron Eastley. The challenges are 100% Stampin' Up! and you can view the individual products used in each product in links to my online Stampin' Up! store at the end of each post. The idea of the challenge is to encourage you to case a project from a category in the 2014 Stampin'  Up! Catalogue. It;s a fabulous challenge blog so I hope you will play along. This week it was Gifts and Packaging.

I chose to CASE the gift box pictured top left on page 14 of the 2014 Australian Stampin' Up! Catalogue. I liked the use of the doily and belly band, which could be customised for so many different types of projects. The base box for the project is the Tag a Bag Gift Boxes where you get 8 pre-cut and scored boxes with acetate sleeves, for just $11.95. Embellishing your own gift boxes gives extra WOW to your gifts, and lets your personality shine through to the recipient. It's a great way to use up paper and embellishment left overs and it's easy to make your gifts look SO pretty!

I chose to embellish the gift box using one of my favourite sheets from the All Abloom DSP paper stack, with lots of great colours in it including Mossy Meadow, Blushing Bride, Strawberry Slush, Daffodil Delight. I also clear embossed a similar image fr0m I Like You Hostess Set on the box for some subtle decoration.

For my actual embellishment, I added some contrasting Strawberry Slush paper from In Colour paper stack, along with some Mossy Meadow stitched satin ribbon, Gold bakers twine, Gold Sequin Trim, a butterfly and a greeting. You can view all the products I used in my online Stampin' Up! store, just click on the links below.

I hope you enjoyed today's project share. Make sure you head over to the CASEing the Catty blog and check out the other projects from the talented design team, and submit your own project. I love pretty gift packaging and I'd really like to do more projects like this to share with you, so watch this space.

Have a fabulous week.
