Hello lovely friends. You might have noticed I have been away from my blog for a few weeks. I've been travelling! My first visit to the US, and my hubby's too. I was excited to have earned the Stampin' Up! Grand Vacation, which this year was a trip to sunny and beautiful Utah. My in-laws came along with the kids and we met up with them after the Grand Vacation to do some travelling for another 10 days.
Over the coming weeks (interspersed with some creative posts!) I will highlight some special parts of the journey. Today I wanted to share our visit to the Stampin' Up! Home Office. This was very highly anticipated by the Australian demonstrators and it was VERY exciting as we were driving in on our coach from Deer Valley.
That was nothing compared to the welcome we got when we walked in the door. It was very emotional with everyone clapping and cheering us.
It was great to catch up with the Corporate Team again. This is Dave Baugh and his lovely wife, and Rich Judkins the SU President (who kept us entertained on the long bus trips!).
It's always very special to have our picture with Shelli, the company CEO and Co-Founder. My husband was blown away by how friendly and present the Corporate Team were for our trip. This ws his first time he could attend a Grand Vacation with me and I think he really 'gets' and shares my passion for Stampin' Up! now.
Our lovely tour guide Shannon (who also shares my love of Diet Coke!).
The Stampin' Up! office building itself is totally beautiful, from the grand exterior to the peaceful fountain, the antique dressers full of inspiring projects and the decorated entrance doors. It was just beautiful. Then there's the Legacy Room, but that's a whole post by itself!
While at the home office we had small group tours of the office and distribution centre, had a delicious lunch and did some make and takes (I'll share those in the coming days) while our guests had a fun afternoon of bowling.
It was such an awesome day and a very special moment in my Stampin' Up! journey. I'll be back soon with more posts about the trip, and some creative posts too.
Have a fabulous week,
