Introducing Pool Party with Stampin' Up! Creative Elements ....
September 01, 2011
Oooohhhh new Stampin' Up! catalogue day - how exciting! First day of Spring too, so make that doubly exciting!
Two quick announcements before today's sample - the new catty is now live and orders can be placed. You can also click the catalogue cover (isn't it pretty?) in the left hand sidebar and browse online, or download your own copy. All the details about buying a hard copy are here.
Secondly (and this is a biggy) Stampin' Up! sprung a joining special on us - and you can join up just by purchasing a min i kit for $169! This is perfect for any of those customers who are interested in joining up for their own benefit - you won't have to double up on stuff you already own and you will easily save the starter kit fee after a few purchases. All the details are on my September Joining Special page here.
Now onto today's sample. New catalogue brings us 5 new InColours which will stick around for the next 2 years (last years InColours are here for another year still). The new colours are lovely and over the next few posts I will do a card to showcase a colour combination using each colour.
Today's colour is Pool Party, which is a lovely light blue that could be used in many ways, including in this vintage colour combination of Soft Suede, Pool Party and Very Vanilla.
The Stampin' Up! set I have used is Creative Elements and I have also used First Edition DSP. I have sponged Soft Suede on the edge of the butterfly (before I stamped) and used my paper piercer and Early Espresso marker for some faux stitching.
I hope you like today's sample. I'll be back soon with another new colour.
Happy stamping and 'oohhiing' and 'ahhhing' at the new catalogue,
Oh my!! This is a stunner. I just love the colour combo and the layout is very creative.
