Sharing some Valentine creations ...

My fabulous team have been working hard at making some great Valentines day creations to inspire you and they are all loaded up on their site today! Blog hops seem to be all the rage at the moment and why not? I always love to see what they have come up with, and there are stunning creations as always.Isn't it nice to discover some new blogs to get ideas from? This is also a great way to get to know some of the girls in my team. I know I prattle on about my team a lot, but honestly they are such a fun bunch of girls who make me laugh, proud and feeling like creating something everyday. Lots of them run regular Stampin' Up! classes as well, so if you live close by, give them a call or click on their class information to find out more.

Here's a list of the girls who have Valentines creations up today. Click on any of the links and you will be able to follow the links onto more projects from other team members. If you'd like to join up to be part of our fabulous team, ask me or any of the girls how - it's so easy and quick, and there's an extra free stamp set in your starter kit during Saaleabration (you get to choose your stamps, inks and colours!).

Proud to be a Demo for Stampin' Up! ...

I just wanted to pop in and get all warm and fuzzy on you and say how proud I was to be a demonstrator for a company like Stampin' Up! that cares so much for others. From day 1, it has been very obvious that they are a company with a proud tradition of giving. Anyone who has met Shelli Gardner ( our Co-founder and CEO, will know this company walks the talk when it comes to giving. It's just nice to know I am a part of that, it sits really well with my values about life and where crafting should fit in.

You may have heard that Stampin' Up! is giving $2 from the sale of every I {Heart} Hearts stamp set sold between now and the end of February, to the American Red Cross Haiti Relief and Development Fund. As well as that, Stampin' Up! home office has already purchased supplies (and received donations from vendors) for 5000 personal hygeine kits which were put together this week by Stampin' Up! staff. These are being sent to Haiti and will be distributed through a relief organisation already working in Haiti.

This is a great set to own as well - so versatile for both cardmaking and scrapbooking. It's just $42.95 and I will personally be donating every cent of commission I earn on the sale of this stamp set between now and the end of February, so when you buy it you are actually donating $9.81, not just $2 :)

Here's a peek at the set, and I will pop back later tonight with some new creations using this set.

I heart hearts

To place your order for this lovely set and to donate $9.81 to the Haiti relief fund, email me or give me a call on 03 9735 2946.

Warm fuzzies to you all,

Claire xx

Some more Saleabration cards ...

We are still enjoying our holiday at the beach house. We've had lots of lazy days with a couple of trips to the beach each day, watching the tennis and some treats like the Foreshore Carnival and the drive-in. It's been a lovely week but we are off home tomorrow back to reality and getting settled back into the school year.

Of course that also means Saleabration is only 2 days away - woohoo. It also means you only have a day and a bit to get any last minute Inventory sale orders in. I ordered myself a couple of sets - Occasionally because the boys love it and also because it's so versatile, and Stem Sayings because I know I will use that for many different flower stems over the coming years. Couldn't resist those two at half price!

Here's a couple more Saleabration cards to show you. This first card uses Good Neighbours.

Good neighbour 1

and this one uses Happy Days and Vintage Labels. Don't you just love that cute birdcage?

I know you won't be able to resist getting your hands on these sets which are free with a $100 order (choose one of four free sets with each $100 spent). Just call me on 03 97352946 or email mefrom January 25th and I will put your order straight through for delivery directly to your house.

Chat to you soon,

Claire xx

Edited to add: Seems I have created a bit of a flurry about how I got my hands on more than one Saleabration set. Girls in my team regularly get together to stamp, and we had a stamp day before Christmas where we shared the Saleabration sets we purchased. Simple as that :)

Happy Days ...

Here's another summery bright card for you. I'm actually writing this down at the family beach house in Tootgarook on the Mornington Peninsula. The beach house has been in my husbands family for over 60 years and we manage to get down here quite a lot. It's walking distance to the beach and has a huge yard the boys play tennis and cricket and ride their bike in, so it's a nice relaxing break for us. Thanks to the wonders of mobile broadband and my new iPhone, it's just like I'm at home though. We are off to the beach in a little while (bit chilly for me to swim but that never stops my boys!), so I thought I would sneak in another card to show you.

SAB 1

Here's what I have used on this one:

  • Stamps: Happy Days and Vintage Labels (both Saleabration sets available to purchase 25th January)
  • Paper: Kaliedescope Designer Series Paper
  • Cardstock: Summer Sun, Tempting Turquoise, Pixie Pink, Whisper White
  • Ink: Summer Sun, Tempting Turquoise, Pink Passion, Stazon Black
  • Accessories: Jumbo Brads, Playground Designer Series Buttons, Circle Scissors Plus, Turquoise grosgrain ribbon

I am so loving our Designer Buttons - they are now available in four different colour groups. I find buttons are the perfect embellishment to add a little something extra to a card or scrapbook page, and to have them perfectly match the cardstock and paper is a bonus. The ones I have used here are Playground which are nice and bright and available in the Summer Mini Catalogue.

I hope you are having a fabulous creative week and are feeling happy and relaxed. Can you believe it's only 10 days until school goes back? Where did that time go?

Later 'gators,

Claire xx
