Holiday wishes for you ....

As you have probably realised, I've been taking a break over the last couple of weeks to recharge my creative batteries. I made my Christmas cards, did my Christmas shopping and  I've been having a fabulous time reading, sleeping in, playing with the boys and catching up with friends and family. We had a lovely Christmas day and I hope you did too!

As my regular customers already know I am around over Christmas and right throughout the holiday season to take orders as normal. I'll also be sending out some special information to my regulars this week.I'll pop in occasionally to update the blog if I feel inspired, but please forgive me if things are a bit slower around here until about mid January.

As 2008 draws to a close, I just wanted to say thankyou for stopping by here and seeing what I've been up to, and your support of my business (that allows me to be here for my boys as well as work) and myself with your lovely comments during the year.

Stay happy, drive safe and I hope 2009 is a fabulous year for you. I didn't take this picture and it's not me. It's from Google images but it reminds me of peace, calm and happy days and that's what I wish for you :)

See you back here soon,

Claire xx

Just a little something .....

Josh needed a quick birthday present for his teacher on Friday (well it wouldn't have had to be quick except he didn't tell me until Thursday night!). Luckily I had my regular social stamp night on Thursday night so I was able to whip this up while I laughed and chatted and relaxed with my wonderful group of stamping friends. I really look forward to these nights!

Choc holder

I have used the new products from the Stampin Up! Summer Mini on this project. The Afternoon Tea Designer Series paper and the gorgeous Embrace Life stamp set. When the card is closed you can see the strip of patterned paper behind the scalloped edge of the card. How's that for a quick and easy gift?

Off to have some family time. Hope you are having a nice Sunday too,

Claire xx

New Summer Mini Catalogue ...

Summer Mini 08

Don't you just love new catalogue time? The brand new Summer Mini catalogue started selling on Monday. If you don't have a demonstrator and would like a copy mailed out, just email me. You can also check it out online by following the link at the bottom of the email.

There's two new punches - a scallop border punch and a square scallop punch as well as brand new stamp sets, papers, rub-ons and embellishments. Here's a few peeks of some of my favourite new items:

Embrace life with product

This card has used the Embrace Life stamp set and the matching Ginger Blossom Designer Series Paper. This paper is matches the following cardstock colours: River Rock, Groovy Guava, Ruby Red and Cameo Coral. I have also used the Scallop Border punch which I LOVE!!

Bali breeze with product

For this card I have used the Bali Breeze Designer Series Paper which coordinates with Old Olive, Rose Red, Pumpkin Pie and Taken with Teal cardstock. I have also used the Square Scallop punch and the Say It With Scallops set which coordinates perfectly with this set.

Scalloped live your dreams with product

For this card I have used the Live your Dreams set and used the Scallop Border punch to make a scalloped rectangle to mat it. I have also used the new wide double stitched ribbon.

Well I hope you like my new Summer Mini Catalogue creations. Pop back soon as I know I will be playing with my new goodies lots over the coming weeks!
