Between October 4th and 11th, you can get 20% off any of the gorgeous Simply Sent kits to celebrate World Card Making Day. These kits would make a great Christmas Present or maybe a present for yourself? The kits come beautifully packages in a gift box with die cut stamps, mini ink pads, cut and folded cardstock, all the embellishments and full step by step instructions to make 10-12 cards. Of course you also get to keep the stamps and inks and can make lots more projects. I think my favourite is Simple Delights. This month you could pick this great kit up for $63.96. Here's a picture of what you would get:

The stamp set is GORGEOUS and would be great for both scrapbooking and stamping. I can see I will be using it over and over again. Better still the rubber is die cut so they are a breeze to mount!

These supplies give you enough supplies to make 10 cards - 5 of each of the designs I have made up in this picture:

Once you have finished these cards you can use the stamps to make a neverending supply of elegant cards. Here's a couple of cards I made up using this set.

I managed to do lots of scrapbooking while I was away on holiday with the boys. Each night when they went to bed we sat up and scrapbooked and talked the night away. I got 12 layouts finished! Here's a couple to start with.

This one is a layout with lots of journalling about the everyday stuff Sam is doing right now. I do one of these layouts each year for the boys to record a little about their everyday life - what they do, what they like, what they say, favourites etc. The journaling strips are all handwritten which adds a bit more of 'me' to the layout.

This one is a family day out a few months ago where we just went for a drive with the boys and played, explored and kicked the footy. It was so relaxing and one of my favourite ways to spend a day so I just had to do a layout about it.

Sunday Escape

I'll be scanning the others over the coming week so pop back soon! Until then, stay happy!

Good to have you back, Claire! Your creations are beautiful; obviously the sea air was conducive to 'playing'. Glad you had such a productive, and enjoyable time.

Hi Claire,
I love those two last cards you made with the simply sent kits. the tearing and choc chip (??) showing thru is perfect. I have my mind set on giving these to a few people for christmas presents... and I always enjoy your layouts for the scrap book pages.
