Hello, hope you had a super weekend. I had a lovely weekend - wasn't the weather divine? Love those sunny autumn days. Had a workshop with some lovely customers on Saturday, we had lots of fun with some make and takes and demonstrations and I was pleased to see everyone so inspired to go home and keep creating. I think I have psosibly tasted the most delicious Pistachio cake and american style dip I have ever tasted as well (no - not together!). You get very spoilt as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.
Then on Sunday night, our team had a cybercrop where you stay home and create items around challenges on the team forum. Today's posts are results of the challenges. This first one was a sketch challenge.
I have used Groovy Guava, Purely Pomegranate and Basic Grey cardstock. The lovely stamp set is Stampin' Up!'s Garden Whimsy and the greeting is Stampin' Up! Short and Sweet. I have also used the Purely Pomegranate In-Colour ribbon from the ribbon swaps and the lovely new rhinestone brads.
The next challenge was a scrabook page using patterned paper. This page features the Outlaw Designer Series paper with the new rub-ons (which rub on so easily!) and matching cardstock colours of Really Rust, Sage Shadow and Naturals Ivory. I have also used the Baroque Motifs stamp set.
Finally, this challenge was to use lots of circles, dots or anything round. I decided to make this into a male card, but now I'm not so sure if the orange is too girly - what do you think?
I have used Wild Wasabi, Bashful Blue and Brilliant Blue cardstock/ink with the Jersey Shore and Pumpkin Pie Designer Series Papers. The circle stamp is from Seeing Spots and the greeting is from A Little Birthday Cheer.
Have a great night,
