Stampin' Up! Flower Patch and Flower Fair Framelits Congratulations Card

Hello there.

A quick share today of a congrats card using the lovely Flower Patch stamp set and matching Flower Fair Framelits from the Stampin' Up! 2014 Annual Catalogue (links to my online store for all products used is at the end of my post).

Stampin' Up! Flower Patch and Flower Fair Framelits Congratulations Card by Claire Daly Stampin Up Melbourne Australia at www.clairedaly.typepad.com

I'm a bit annoyed with myself for the greeting not being straight :( I liked how my colours turned out though: Cherry Cobbler, Calypso Coral and Smoky Slate. I am LOVING Smoky Slate (the lighter of the two greys) right now.

Framelits make it so easy to have precision cutting. The matching Flower Flair Framelits for this stamp set are super east to line up using the magnetic platform. I have also used the Banner Framelits, and the Large Polka Dot embossing folder with my BigShot. You can check all the supplies out below my signature.

I hope you enjoy today's card.

See you back here tomorrow,

Claire

Stampin' Up! Holiday Home Christmas Card for Stamping and Blogging

How cute are these little houses in the Stampin' Up! Holiday Home stamp set? The set is a photopolymer one with lots of extra little bits and pieces to create cute Christmas scenes. It's perfect for paper piecing too. I've used this weeks sketch (SB80) from Stamping and Blogging to come up with today's card.

I've added some Christmas bling in the form of some rhinestones coloured with Blendabilities, glimmer paper and some gold twine. I think gold and Blackberry Bliss look fabulous together. You can view all the products I have used in the card using the links at the end of the post.

Stampin' Up! Be The Star and matching Star Framelet Dies

Hello. It's Wednesday which means it's time for the Stamping and Blogging DT Challenge. Sandi has given us another lovely sketch to work with today. Here's my interpretation:

image from http://s3.amazonaws.com/hires.aviary.com/k/mr6i2hifk4wxt1dp/14102911/9bd6abc9-9551-48a7-8b1a-53a8ee8b75e6.png

This card is quite different to my usual style, but you know sometimes you need a quick, clean and simple card to congratulate someone on something awesome. I like to make those cards bright and cheerful and I think Coastal Cabana, Strawberry Slush and a little bling do the job well.

The Star Framelit Dies (which I used to cut the stars) are a fabulous investment and we now have 3 different stamp sets they coordinate perfectly with. Here's the 'Be The Star' stamp set I used today. You can view all the other products I used on today's card in the links at the bottom of the post.

Stampin' Up! Merry Everything for Stamping and Blogging

Hello friends.

Today I have a Christmas card for you, featuring Merry Everything from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue. This set is a great set of 5 tag stamps, with a matching Note Tag Punch. The card s based on this weeks sketch from Stamping and Blogging.

Stampin Up Merry Everything Christmas card with Note Tag Punch by Claire Daly Stampin Up Melbourne Australia at www.clairedaly.typepad.com

My colours are Lost Lagoon and Old Olive. The watercolour background is a lot more subtle in the real card but was difficult to photograph true to colour. The little snowflakes stamped over the watercolour background are from Endless Wishes from the Holiday Catalogue (stamped in Lost Lagoon). You can check out all the supplies I have used in the links at the bottom of this post.

Stampin' Up! Tag Talk and Festival of Trees for Stamping and Blogging Sketch 77

Hello lovely friends! It's Wednesday which means it's time to visit my lovely fellow Stamping and Blogging DT members around the world for sketch challenge time. I have to confess I found this weeks sketch quite challenging! However, I managed to do 2 cards for you this week :). For this one, I flipped the sketch.

Stampin' Up! Tag Talk and Festival of Trees for Stamping and Blogging Sketch 77 by Claire Daly Stampin' Up! Melbourne Australia

The Tag Talk stamp set and matching Label Bracket Punch is one of my favourite greeting sets! I particularly love this birthday greeting. You can check out all the products I have used in the links at the end of the post.  The paper I have used here is the All Abloom paper stack.

My second take on the sketch was a Christmas card using Festival of Trees and the All is Calm product suite. I also popped some silver foil vellum behind the layers.

My greeting here is the lovely Good Greetings stamp set. This set can only be earned with a $300 workshop total or order and there is now just 16 days left as the promotion ends on 31st October. Stampin' Up! Festival of Trees for Stamping and Blogging

Today's card was inspired by the weekly sketch from Stamping and Blogging, SB73. Each week myself and the rest of the design team right around the world blog hop around our take on the sketch. I have chosen Festival of Trees stamp and matching punch from the 2014 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue to use this week.

Stampin' Up! Festival of Trees for SB73 by Claire Daly Stampin Up Australia www.clairedaly.typepad.com

I know I have been using this matching stamp set and punch a lot, but it's just SO versatile it always seems to fit what I have in mind. The trees look great stamped and punched, or even just punched from patterned paper. I have used a combination here.

The beautiful die cut 'Joy' word can be found in the Wonderful Wreath framelits pack, along with some other elements. I have also used one of my favourite Stampin' Up! Christmas embossing folders, Northern Flurry. You can find links to all of the products I have used in this weeks card at the end of the post.

Stampin Up Flower Patch Stamp Set and Flwer Flair Framelits by Claire Daly Stampin Up Demonstrator Melbourne Australia www.clairedaly.typepad.com

This is a beautiful set to stamp with and perfect for two-step stamping as there are so many images which can be layered (there are actually nineteen stamps in the stamp set). I found the Framelits easy to line up as well. The colours I have stamped are Rich Razzleberry (also the background card colour), Strawberry Slush, Calypso Coral, Blush Blossom and Old Olive for the leaves.

Stampin' Up! Festival of Trees and Endless Wishes for SB69

Hello friends. Today I'm sharing a sneak peek of a couple of sets from the 2014 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue. The products from this catalogue are available to purchase in Australia from August 28th. So many of my demo friends are saying this is the best Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue ever and I think I agree (contact me if you would like one sent out). This card is based on this weeks Stamping and Blogging Sketch SB69. I always look forward to seeing what the fabulous design team come up with each week.

Stampin' Up! Festival of Trees and Endless Wishes for SB69

I had all sorts of problems photographing this card well. I was a bit disorganised today so ended up doing it this evening so it was difficult to catch the true colour and sparkle. I've used shimmer white cardstock as well. Love the weight and subtle shimmer of this off white card.

Stampin' Up! Festival of Trees and Endless Wishes for SB69

The trees are stamped using the Photopolymer set Festival of Trees and it's super cool matching Christmas Tree punch! The washi tape and DSP are part of the new All is Calm range and the snowflakes (from Endless Wishes stamp set), trees and greeting have been stamped in Lost Lagoon, Pool Party and Smoky Slate to match.

Stampin' Up! Festival of Trees and Endless Wishes for SB69

I highlighted three of the snowflakes  by over-stamping with the smaller snowflake in Smoky Slate, adding one of the cool new frosted snowflake sequins from the All is Calm product suite, and added an adhesive rhinestone on top.

Here's the sketch we had to work with for this weeks challenge.

Stampin' Up! Bright and Beautiful Christmas Card and Star Decoration

Hello lovelies. Feeling festive? I was yesterday while Iwas playing with this fabulous new bundle in the 2014 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue. It's called Bright and Beautiful, and it's been released a month earlier than the catalogue at a special 15% off bundle price. It will be in the holiday catalogue but you wont be able to get it at the discounted bundle price.

Here is my Christmas card and star bauble / decoration I was able to make with this bundle.

Stampin' Up! Bright and Beautiful Christmas Card and Star Decoration

I have stamped the star image in Cherry Cobbler onto Typeset DSP for the layers. The centre layer is gold embossing on crumb cake. I also twirled some linen thread in there for some extra texture.

Brght and beautiful cherry cobbler close up.

For the star decoration, I attached this to some cardstock to make it firmer. To make these star decorations, you just need two of the largest stars. Then score the centre of each point through to the opposite indented 'v' point. Do this with all 5 points on each side. Then fold the scores on the points outwards and the valleys inwards. Finally join both stars together with Fast Fuse.

If you love this bundle, grab it for 15% off before the special ends on August 31st (you will be able to buy the stamp set and star framelits individually after that date). Just click on the product links below under the signature.

BigShot 3

There are other bundles available at 15% off too, as part of the Big Shot Free Bundle promotion. You can either buy the bundles at 15% during August, or get one FREE when you purchase a BigShot.

View the Bigshot Promotion products (including the bright and beautiful bundle) in the online store.

Have a happy day and see you back here soon,

Hexagons are huge in crafting right now. In the 2013 Annual Catalogue Stampin' Up! released the Hexagon Punch and the matching Six Sided Sampler Stamp Set. There is also a super pretty DSP called Afternoon Picnic with a hexagon pattern included in the designs.

This paper features some of my absolute favourite Stampin' Up! Colours right now: Crushed Curry (how yummy is that Crushed Curry Chevron Ribbon), Coastal Cabana, Wisteria Wonder and Smokey Slate.

Ribbon Tip: I keep off cuts of ribbon in a little bowl near my craft desk, so when I want to add some additional texture or colour to a card, I can tie little extra bits around the main ribbon I have used. In this sample I have used some crochet trim and Wisteria Wonder bakers twine that I had in my cut-offs bowl. Love this effect.
