Yeah, we are into double figures with the Stampin' Up! Heart of Christmas for 2017, bought to you by the Art with Heart Stampin' Up! team. Welcome to week 10 - how exciting!
I've had a pretty overwhelming week that past week (in fact it actually started right when last week's post went live), with a very close friend having a really difficult time and spending some time in hospital. It's so difficult when people you love are sick isn't it, much more so of course for her and her family and that's hard to watch too? I found myself a bit dazed and not quite with it for much of the week, so today's card is a very quick card which luckily I had made earlier last week. Sometimes the simple cards are the best so I hope you like it.
I've used the new Carols of Christmas bundle which is in my last post (in fact this is one of the cards). I really like the big bold sentiments in this stamp set. Being red rubber, they are perfect to use Stampin' Write Markers with to get multi-coloured greetings (I have used Early Espresso and Cherry Cobbler). This bold striped Cherry Cobbler paper is from the Be Merry Designer Series Paper (in the annual catalogue).
The Art with Heart girls will have been much more on the ball than me this week so pop on over to their blog for some more Christmas inspiration.
Are you ready for some Christmas creating? Stampin' Up! have released one of the fabulous bundles from the 2017 Holiday Catalogue (request your paper copy of the new catalogue HERE). It's called Carols of Christmas bundle, which includes the Carols of Christmas stamp set and the Card Front Builder Thinlits Dies (when you buy the bundle, you get the products at a combined 10% off). Both the stamp set and the bundle are available in wood mount and clear mount.
I love the super large greetings in this stamp set, and the coordinating images and Framelits are perfect for embellishing your Christmas cards. Here's a video, the stamp set and thinlits image, as well as some samples from Stampin' Up!. Read on though as I have some free tutorial and some stamp a stack kits to offer you too!
(Just a reminder to redeem any bonus coupons from July and use the August Hostess Code N32VTJJY to get a free gift in September).
BONUS: Get FREE Tutorials or a cost price Stamp a Stack Kit when you purchase the Carols of Christmas Bundle from me in August.
I've put together four embellished and layered cards (I can't do super basic - you know me!) and I'd love to give you a bonus in August! As detailed last week, the fancy fold card was inspired by a swap card I received from Julie Kettlewell on the Incentive Trip)
When you buy the Carols of Christmas bundle (either wood mount or clear mount) from me (either online, or by phone or email), you can choose either:
FREE set of emailed PDF tutorials for the 4 cards, including pictures, measurements and step by step instructions (these are available to go); or
$10 discount on an 8 card and envelope Christmas Stamp a Stack which includes the above instructions (so 2 each of the 4 designs) with the cardstock, 1/4 pack Be Merry Designer Series Paper, die cut stitched circle and label shapes, metallic enamel shapes, sequin trim and envelopes. This will cost you $18.50 including postage. Small print: Discounted price only available to those people who purchase the bundle from me (or intend to during August) and the kit must be purchased prior to August 10th. It's OK to purchase the kit before the bundle, but it won't be posted to you until the bundle has been purchased (or you pay the additional $10). Products will be ordered 11th August and the kit should be posted bu around the 21st assuming everything runs normally with me receiving the order.
If you would just like to purchase the Stamp a Stack kit without buying the bundle from me, the cost is $28.50 including postage, as these are embellished and layered cards and you are getting lots of product to complete them.
To complete the projects using the kits you will need:
Stampin' Trimmer or trimmer and scorer, paper snips and adhesive including dimensionals
Carols of Christmas bundle and BigShot
Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green and Crumb Cake Stampin' Markers (or you can use Classic Stampin' Pads and stamp the greetings in one colour)
Use these PayPal buttons to purchase either version of the Carols of Christmas Stamp a Stack Kit. Cut off date is August 15th for kit purchase:
Version 1: $18.50 and I intend to purchase the Carols of Christmas bundle from you by 31st August (just purchase the bundle the normal way you would make a purchase). I understand the kit wont be posted until I complete the purchase or upgrade to version 2. Please note the other general and ink supplies you will need besides the bundle.
Version 2: $28.50 just the stamp a stack kit for 8 cards and envelopes (please note the supplies you will need).
Yeah, the demonstrators who attended the 2017 Thailand Incentive Trip are finally able to now share some of the fabulous sneak peeks we got to see when the Holiday catalogue was launched on the trip.
The Holiday Catalogue is my favourite catalogue of the year as just love Christmas and I also love the crafty time leading up to Christmas. I'll be sending this catalogue out to my regular customers early August. If you are new to Stampin' Up!, don't have a demonstrator (or they are no longer active), FILL OUT THIS FORM to give me your address and I will be happy to send one to you too (all demonstrators get to order the catalogues at the same time, so if you have a demonstrator already, please ask them).
While in Thailand we got lots of the new products as pillow gifts, bean bag game prizes or giveaways in the general session. We also got to do some make and takes using the new products and see lots of samples on display. Here are some of the products and our make and takes.
Here's some of the beautiful samples on display.
I'll be back again later with some more sneak peeks!
Today we are up to week 9 of the Art with Heart Stampin' Up!'s team Heart of Christmas blog promotion for 2017.
Today I have a fancy fold card for you, that sits up nicely to display, but also folds into a C6 envelope for posting. I received a version of this as a swap card from Julie Kettlewell (UK Demonstrator) and I couldn't wait to get back to my craft desk to try it out.
It's a super cute design and is great for showing off the large greetings in Carols of Christmas. This stamp set is being released a month early for customers (along with coordinating Thinlits dies which I have also used here). You can purchase either the stamp set or Thinlits separately, or combine them in a bundle. I'll be posting more information about that promotion next Tuesday.
The great thing about this card is that it can be folded and popped into a standard C6 envelope.
Here's another view of the card that shows the base of the centre decorated piece. The patterned paper I have used today is the Be Merry Designer Series Paper from the annual catalogue. There are also lots of beautiful new Christmas papers coming in the 2017 Holiday Catalogue which I'll be sending out early August. If you are in Australia, and don't already have a demonstrator (or your demonstrator is no longer active), just click on the 'FREE CATALOGUE link (far right on the top line of the navigation links above my blog banner) and fill in the details to receive YOUR free paper copy in the mail in August.
You can either write your greeting on the inside side panels (which I have intentionally left blank) or the reverse of the card. I think this would be a lovely card to display for the lucky recipient at Christmas.
Now it's time to visit the blogs of my lovely Art with Heart team girls, to see what they have created for you this week. Enjoy! Don't forget to ask these girls for a holiday catalogue or information about classes too.
You will recall that last Wednesday when I posted my Heart of Christmas week 8 card, I promised to come back and show you another version of the card updated with 2017 colours. Here it is!
This was a super quick card to whip up, and as I mentioned last week you can use any patterned paper and just coordinate colours with it. I have used Fig Tree from the 2017-19 InColour paper Stack. Neither the paper or the Swirly Bird bundle are Christmas specific products, but I think this card works well for Christmas still. (the greeting is from Oh, What Fun in the Annual Catalogue). Here's a closer look at the silver bits I added, and the Soft Sky watercolour wash.
Thanks for stopping by today. I have lots more to show you this week. I will be sharing some favourite swaps from the Incentive Trip, we have our weekly Heart of Christmas project and monthly Art With Heart blog hop. Also from Friday I can start showing you some of the new 2017 Holiday Catalogue products! Exciting!
