I love the bright happy colours in these papers. These are Hybrid projects (just meaning I used both 'real' papers and embellishments along with digital products from the digital Sent with Love Kit).

Next I made a matching travel journal where I will write down all the bits and pieces I need to record for an upcoming trip. I also did a little stamping inside the journal.

Need cardstock?

To make the projects in the tutorials, you will need 4 sheets of A4 Cardstock in each of the following 3 colours: Calypso Coral, island Indigo and Pool Party. If you don't have these, they can be purchased together in a pack in the 2010-2012 A4 cardstock Pack. I only used half a pack of DSP to make my projects, so if you buy 2 cardstock packs you could double the projects! Buy the Cardstock Pack Now Via the Online Store. Other than that I used some punches and a couple of Textured Impressions Embossing folders (Chevron and Honeycomb).

Trying out some My Digital Studio Scrapbooking ....

I've been having fun getting to know the new My Digital Studio scrapbooking program that was released in Australia this week. Here are my first two pages I have been able to come up with.

The program is available as a 30 Day free trial download and then will cost just $24.95. Both the trial and buy it versions contain lots of great elements and templates to help you get started. There ar lots more yummy things in my online store though, starting at a low $1.50.

Stampin' Up! Secret Garden Bundle ....

Another card to share today. This time using the Secret Garden bundle of stamps and matching Framelits (dies) from the Stampin' Up! Seasonal Catalogue.

My colours are Raspberry Ripple, Primrose Petals, Early Espresso and the Very Vanilla in the First Edition DSP. This is great to stamp on and I used Raspberry Ripple and Early Espresso ink.

I have also used the Delicate Designs embossing folder and the Large Scallop Edgelit which matches this embossing folder beautifully.

Stampin' Up! Summer Silhouettes ....

Just love this colour combination of Summer Starfruit, Raspberry Ripple and Basic Black. It came up so bright and summery, but with a great contrast with the touches of black. My Stampin' Up! set used is Summer Silhouettes.

Stampin' Tips to recreate this card:

• Use coordinating DSP in blocks as a background. I have used two different sheets from the Prints Poetry DSP stack, and a coordinating Summer Starfruit prints piece from the DSP stacks.
• Use basic black as a highlight to other colour schemes. I have used just a teeny bit as mats to each layer, and as a greeting (from Kindness Matters stamp set).
• Add co-ordinating flowers to the leaf stamp in Summer Sihouettes. I have also added some adhesive rhinestones in the centre of each flower.

This a great way to use up some coordinating DSP scraps. I hope I have inspired you to create a card using DSP soon.

Stampin' Up! Scrapbooking with World Spectacular DSP ........

It was the colours that first attracted me to this lovely DSP when I saw it in the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue. Then I had a closer look and realized what a versatile DSP it was. Great for scrapbooking but also male and kids cards. The DSP was perfect for this focus page of my Melbourne Show photos.

A few other elements I have used on this page:

• The Chevron DSP is from Sunshine and Sprinkles in the Seasonal Catalogue
• The flags are hand-cut from a combination of the two DSPs and secured onto some linen thread wrapped around some Island Indigo Polka Dot Brads.
• The Ticket Duo punch has been combined with the That's the Ticket stamp set for some extra elements on the banner and journalling block.

I really enjoyed this page. There will definitely be some more pages coming soon.

Stampin' Up! Hello Doily....

Today I have the last of the three challenge cards I completed on the weekend. This one is Just Add Ink Colour Challenge 156. As well as loving the colours, the combination was chosen by JAI team member Christine Blain, who also happens to be one of my Stampin' Up! team downline. Another great reason to play don't you think?

I had just finished mounting the Stampin' Up!  Hello Doily background stamp, so was keen to use this as the base of my card. I also love the new Decorative Build a Brads from the Stampin' Up! Seasonal Catalogue, so had to incorporate one of these too.  Here's what I came up with.
