Hello and thanks for stopping by today. Today is the second last week of my Art with Heart team girls Heart of Christmas series for 2017. This is week 26.
It's getting to the point where many people are in need of super quick and easy Christmas cards which can easily be done in a batch, and this week's card definitely fits this criteria.
You need three pieces of coordinating DSP. I have used Merry Music Specialty DSP and Merry Little Christmas DSP but you could use any coordinating papers. The base card is 1/2 A$ cardstock cut vertically to make a standard C6 top folding card. The measurements for each piece of DSP are:
Left: 1 13/16" wide by 5 5/8" long or 4.6cm x 14.2cm
Top right: 2" wide x 3.5" long or 5.1cm x 8,8cm
Bottom right: 2" wide x 2" long; or 5.1cm x 5.1cm
The centre circle is 2.5" diameter and the stamped greeting is rom one of the Christmas sets in the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue, Peace This Christmas. I have used a variety of embellishments around the greetings including Metallic Enamel Shapes, Glitter Enamel Shapes and Adhesive Rhinestone Jewels. For the Silver Mini Sequin Trim, you need about 30-35cm under each circle.
Now it's time to see what the lovely Art with Heart Team girls have been up to.
A few weeks ago I had a play doing some colouring with the new Stampin' Up! Stampin' Blends alcohol markers. Instead of colouring stamped images, I used some 6x6 pieces of Just Add Color Specialty Designer Series Paper. his is a heavy weight paper already printed with lots of great images, and the Stampin' Blends work beautifully with it.
I recently turned the colouring into cards, and here's what I came up with.
Colours in this one are Smokey Slate base card, with Pool Party and Calypso Coral. I used the Pool Party, Old Olive and Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends, and finished off with some Smoky Slate Gingham Ribbon (just LOVING this ribbon recently).
This one was Smoky Slate base, with Pool Party, Smoky Slate and Old Olive Stampin' Blends. My greeting is from Window Shopping stamp set.
For the label, I extended the length of the Everyday Label punch, and popped an embossed circle behind for some balance. Like how that turned out. I think this one migt be a good card for a male family member or friend.
I love succulents and was happy how this one turned out. Base card is Old Olive embossed with Petal Burst embossing folder. I have used Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry, Pool Party and Smoky Slate Stampin' Write Markers.
For my last card I have used Pink Pirouette, Calypso Coral, Smoky Slate, Old Olive and Daffodil Delight Stampin Blends, on a Pool Party base card. My greeting here is from Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set.

Hello ladies, it's time to bring you this week's Heart of Christmas inspiration piece.
Today my card is based on the foiled specialty paper Year of Cheer. This is a beautiful paper for Christmas and has silver, platinum, gold and copper foiling through it. My greeting is from the Hearts Come Home stamp set and is embossed in Copper to match the small piece of Year of Cheer DSP underneath. The base card is Crumb Cake.
The largest circle is cut from Platinum foil paper (in the Holiday Catalogue) with the 2 & 1/4" punch and the smaller circle which has the greeting on it is cut with the 1 & 3/4" circle punch. Other than that it's just a bit of silver mini sequin trim.
Now lets see what other lovely creations the Art with Heart Team girls have come up with this week.
