Stampin' Up! Moroccan Designer Series Paper for a masculine Thinking of You handmade card.

Hello stampers. Happy Monday.

I have to tell you Emerald Envy has TOTALLY taken me by surprise and crept in to firmly cement itself as one of my few favourite Stampin' Up! colours at the moment. I'm also a big fan of Early Espresso, which is one of the reasons I am loving the Moroccan Designer Series Paper from the Stampin' Up! 2016 Annual Catalogue.

Stampin Up Moroccan Nights stamp set and Moroccan DSP. Masculine thinking of you card by Claire Daly Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Melbourne Australia

I found the images in the stamp set perfect for the masculine card I was making. I particularly love the border stamp and how it echoes the patterns on this piece of DSP.

For my masculine embellishments, I have used our Burlap Trim and Linen Thread together, and then used a Bronze Sharpie to colour some of the White Perfect Accents - this gives a great copper embellishment and copper is so on trend right now!

Collage Stamping Technique and ATC Swap using Stampin' Up! In This World Stamp Set

One of the great things we do on my Art With Heart Stampin' Up! team Facebook group is a monthly ATC stamping technique share. It's great for our hobby and business demos to get involved in and really fun to share with team members right across Australia when we get our swap ATCs back in the mail.

Last month's technique was collage stamping, and the In This World stamp set from the 2016 Annual Catalogue was perfect for the technique. I also decided to make a card to go with the ATC.

Collage stamping technique using Stampin Up In This World stamp set. Claire Daly Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Melbourne Australia.

My Stampin' Up! colours are Crumb Cake, Mint Macaron, Soft Suede, Early Espresso and I have also added some Copper Embossing (the butterfly on the ATC, and ink splotches on the card). It's super easy to create this effect with just layers of stamping on a Very Vanilla background.

I really love the vintage look of the stamps in this set. I think this set would be great for male cards as well.

Here's a closer look at the In This World stamp set. Isn't it fabulous? I'll definitely be looking at other ways to use this vintage / antique inspired stamp set.

Stampin' Up! Irresistibly Floral Specialty DSP and sponge brayers

Hello crafty ones, time to share some more cards with you :)

These were two cards I made last weekend when I was on a crafting weekend away with some friends. I wanted to try out the Stampin' Up! Irresistibly Floral DSP and new sponge brayers. The paper comes already clear embossed with a pattern (there are 12 sheets in 12x12" size, 2 sheets of 6 different patterns and only 3 are floral). I used one of the 3 non-floral patterns on this one. These 3 patterns would be perfect for masculine cards.

Emboss resist 1

I used the sponge brayers to apply Dapper Denim ink, and then used copper embossing on the greeting. This greeting stamp is called Stylised Birthday and is a single stamp. I really like it!

Emboss resist 1a

For this next card, I used two ink colours: Peekaboo Peach and Flirty Flamingo. The copper emboosing looks reat with these colours too.

Emoss resist flamingo peach

There are so many fabulous looks you can get with this paper. I would really recommend you having a play with it. With the sponge brayers, you get 4 sponges and 2 brayer handles in the box too. You can check out everything I've used on these cards using the links at the end of this post.

I had a big box of 2016 Holiday Catalogues arrive on Friday and I'll be mailing them out towards the end of this week. If you don't have a demonstrator, or your demonstrator is no longer active, Register HERE and I will send you out a free copy!

You can grab Marquee Messages HERE in my online Stampin' Up! store, or follow the links at the end of the post to see everything I have used in todays card.

My colours are Island Indigo, Emerald Envy and Crushed Curry. Make sure you stamp with Stazon Jet Black or Archival Black so the ink doesn't bleed when you colour. I just use the inside of an ink pad lid (squeeze it while it's closed to get some ink to collect there) and a Blender Pen to colour.

Stampin Up Bravo, Flashback DSP and Star Framelits for SB68. By Claire Daly, Stampin' Up! dem Melbourne Australia

I have made the Flashback DSP (LOVE these colours) and the On Film Framelits the centrepiece of my card, and embellished with the Star Framelits which I am really enjoying using. The large sentiment comes from a new Photopolymer set in the 2014 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue, called Bravo. You can check out all the products I have used for todays card in the links below.

Stampin' Up! Masculine card featuring Bravo and Dotty Angles for SB64

Hello friends. Today I have a masculine card for you based on another of the fabulous Stamping and Blogging sketch challenges. I have used a couple of new Stampin' Up! photopolymer sets Bravo and Dotty Angles.

Stampin' Up! Masculine card featuring Bravo and Dotty Angles for SB64 by Claire Daly Stampin Up Australia www.clairedaly.typepad.com

I'm really impressed with the quality of our Photopolymer stamps. They stamp beautifully. My colours here are Smoky Slate, Real Red and Basic Black. I have clear embossed the Dotty Angles stamp onto the first layer of Smoky Slate cardstock. The main stamped circle is cut out with the 2 1/2" Circle Punch, and one of the Starburst Framelits is a great size to mat this circle.

Hello there. Today's card share is one for the men in our lives, especially those who love travel. It uses the new Traveler stamp set from the 2014 Stampin' Up! Australian Catalogue, along with the World Map background stamp. The layout was based on this weeks Stamping and Blogging Sketch SB63.

Stampin' Up! Rev Up The Fun masculine cards

Today it was 'the big race' in Australia, the Bathurst 1000 on the V8 Motorsport calendar. This is a bit of a huge thing if you are into motorsport in Australia. So I thought it was only appropriate to have a play with Stampin' Up!'s Rev Up the Fun stamp set. This set is perfect for men, boys and teenagers who love cars and motorbikes (quite an audience then don't you think?).

For this first one I have combined Island Indigo, Crushed Curry and Real Red. I have also used Off the Grid single stamp (another one perfect for male cards) and the chevron stripes were cut using the Tasteful Trim Bigz die for the Bigshot. This great die cuts 4 different shaped trims 12" long. Love it!

Stampin Up Rev Up the Fun

For this second card using Rev Up the Fun, I have used the I Am Me Designer Series Paper and the coordinating colours Pool Party, Daffodil Delight, Real Red and Basic Gray. I've also used one of the arrow clips from Hang Up Cute Clips.

Quick Male or Masculine Cards using Stampin' Up! On It's Way Simply Sent Kit.

Ready to go card kits are a great idea when you want to whip up some quick cards. The Stampin' Up! In It's Way Simply Sent kit is fabulous for male or masculine cards.

stampin up male cards
Here's some of the designs I came up with using this kit:

The basic card (there's 8 of everything here included, except the stamp). I love the quality of both the card and the stylish kraft envelope. There's embossed self stripes on the cards too and the cardstock weight panels are all adhesive - so it's so quick to put together. The colours are perfect for male or masculine cards.

stampin up its way
For this one I added some Basic Black Chevron Ribbon:

For these next 2 I added the Stampin' Up! Hexagon Punch and matching Six Sided Sampler stamp set.
