Tonight the Art with Heart team are sharing creative projects using products from the Sale-a-bration brochure. All Sale-a-bration products are earned for FREE with sales of $90+ (AUD).
• If you spend $90, you get one free level 1 product.
• If you spend $180, you get one free level 2 product, OR, they can choose two level 1 items.
• If you spend $270, you have the option to choose three level 1 items or one level 1 item and one level 2 item.

The Sale-a-bration promotion is current now until March 31st. Be sure to request your copy of the brochure today. Sale-a-bration is also a great time to join our fabulous team. Ask any of the girls on the hop!

I have used one of the newly available products from the second release of the Saleabration products. It is called Blossoming Basket bundle, and is a combination of a beautiful floral basket line art stamp set with a coordinating basket weave embossing folder. This is a level 2 Saleabration gift which means this bundle can be redeemed for free with a $180 order in my online store or by phone or email. There are also lots of other gifts that can be chosen for a $90 order, so just ask if you would like a Saleabration brochure.

I used the Stampin Blends in Crumb Cake, Pink Pirouette and Rich Razzleberry to colour the image (after stamping with Memento Black). My cardstock colours are Crumb Cake, Powder Pink and Shimmery White.

My greeting is from At Home With You, as I wanted a very small greeting and I love the font in this set. I have used coordinating Powder Pink ribbon as well.  I love how the ribbon coordinates in so well with the Stampin' Blends colours as well.

3 ways with Stampin' Up! Petal Palette Stamp Set

Some bundles just jump right out of the page at me when I open a new catalogue, and they are usually the nature style stamp sets for me. Birds, flowers, leaves etc. Stampin' Up!'s new Petal Palette stamp set from the Occasions Catalogue ticked all the boxes for me. It has a coordinating set of Thinlits called Petals and More Thinlit Dies, and a lovely set 0f 2 border embellishment folders called Petal Pair Textured Impressions Embossing Folders. Here are 3 ways I have used these lovely products. This is just the tip of the iceberg. You will be seeing LOTS more of this product suite from me.

For my first card I have coloured the roses in Cherry Cobbler light and dark Stampin' Blends, with Old Olive light and dark Stampin' Blends on the leaves. I also used the Lots of Labels Framelits.

I added some gentle shimmer with the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.

For my second card, I coloured in Calypso Coral light and dark Stampin Blends, with Old Olive light and dark for the leaves. I also used one on the embossing folders on the crumb cake layer.

I did a little bit of background stamping on the label shape that was left over from the last card. and added a greeting from the set. That lovely label die cut is included in the Thinlits.  I also added some Wink of Stella to this card.

For my third card (which I think is my favourite), I have used Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive light and dark Stampin Blends, but haven't used the glitter this time. I used the other embossing folder but didn't take it all the way across the card. I also added in some background stamping at the top of the card (that background stamp included in the set is so versatile).

The greeting or this card came from a different set (it was just the sentiment I needed for this card, for someone who is going through an extremely difficult time). It's from Ribbon of Courage stamp set.

Stampin' Up! Flying Home Stamp Set with Stampin' Blends

Today's shares feature some coloured images from the new Flying Home stamp set in the Stampin' Up! 2018 Occasions Catalogue. This is a super cute set of line drawn images which are just perfect for colouring.

Stampin Up Flying Home stamp set #occassions2018

I stamped my images in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, onto Thick Whisper White cardstock as I planned to colour with Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers. I used Light Old Olive, Light and Dark Crumb Cake, Light Pink Pirouette, Light and Dark Pool Party and Light Calypso Coral.

I did two different designs, with the coloured images cut out either with the circle or square Stitched Shape Framelits.

The diecut I have used is from the Petals and More Thinlit Dies.  I tried it in Soft Sky and Crumb Cake, but I think I like the Soft Sky versions best.

I did a bit of a watercolour wash in Soft Sky around the coloured image to soften some of the white space.

I wanted the coloured images to be the focus of these cards, so I just went for a really small simple greeting from the At Home With You stamp set. I love the font in the greetings in this set.

Guest Blogger: Rachel Woollard and Brusho

Today we have the second of my guest bloggers for the week, Rachel Woollard (Handstamped by Rachel). Rachel is going to show you some fabulous creations using Brusho, which was a new product introduced in the Stampin' Up! 2018 Occasions Catalogue.

Image1

I met Rachel at a craft show in my very first year as a demonstrator. She soon became a regular customer, and soon after a demonstrator on my team. Rachel would have been with me 10 years in June this year. We love having Rachel in the team and she has become a good friend. We often get together and stamp and her little one (now her big one) used to sleep on my couch while we stamped! Rachel has built a great little team of her own and is now one of my Silver Elite Demonstrators. As well as being a great leader, she is very creative and runs regular Stampin' Up! classes in Ringwood East. Here's what she has coming up over the following months:

Sat 3rd Feb 1-4pm
Occasions and Sale-A-Bration Class
$18.

Thurs 8th Feb 12.30-3pm
Fancy Cards Cards
$18, 3 cards

Sat 10th Feb 1-4pm
Card Class
$18, 4 cards

Email ralin@bigpond.net.au for questions or to reserve your place.

Rachel has been working hard on getting to know the Brusho products which we introduced into the Occasions Catalogue. I love all the fabulous effects she has achieved on these cards.

You can see close ups of all of these cards with more detailed descriptions on this blog post over on Rachel's blog. Be sure to ask her about her upcoming classes while you are there!

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you have a great day. I'll be back soon with some more creations.

Stampin' Up! All Inclusive Lots of Happy Cardmaking Kit

All inclusive kits are one of the first things I always seem to be attracted to in new catalogues, and the lots of Happy Kit in the Stampin' Up! 2018 Occasions Catalogue is no exception. I think I love the kits because I can grab them and sit at the kitchen table, or even the lounge coffee table and have everything I need in the cute little box, rather than sitting away from the family while I craft. I also love the simplicity and the variety in the kits.

This kit contains everything you need to make 20 cards (envelopes included too) with 4 each of 5 designs. There is a full colour leaflet showing how each card is put together. It even includes the pencils for the colouring. You can also buy refills for the kits too.

Stampin Up Lots of Happy Card Kit

Stampin Up Lots of Happy Card KitYou can also play around a little and add some additional colours, like I have with the larger card here (because it looked like olives to me).
