Stampin' Up! Moon Baby and Paper Piecing Technique

A lovely friend recently had a baby girl, so I got to make a girly card. This was lots of fun since I have a house full of boys here. I turned to the lovely Stampin' Up! Moon Baby stamp set from the 2017 Occasions Catalogue. This stamp set has been proving very popular for colouring, but I decided to use the paper-piecing technique instead.

The beautiful Sweet Sugarplum Gingham paper is from the Succulent Garden Designer Series Paper. There's also a little bit of the Falling in Love DSP in there (the small banner piece behind the banner and paper-pieced in the umbrella.

Stampin' Up! Sweet L'il One for SB112

There are some super cute new baby sets in the Stampin' Up! 2015 Annual Catalogue and today we are playing with Sweet L'il One for the Stamping and Blogging Design Team sketch SB112.

Stampin Up Sweet L'il One Stamp Set, Sweet L'il Things DSP & Washi for SB112 by Claire Daly SU Demo Australia

It's a super sweet set and the matching Sweet Li'l Things Designer Paper and Washi Tape have fabulous colours and designs for baby and toddler cards. LOVE the colours in them. Picking out a couple of colours from the DSP for your stamping (in this case Tip Top Taupe and Pool Party) makes it so easy to create coordinating cards.

I have a bit of a star thing going on here too. As usual you can view all the products used today by using the links at the bottom of the post. Here's a closer look at the Sweet L'il One Stamp Set:
