Art with Heart Team Stampin Up Heart of Christmas 2017: Week 11 and a 2017 Holiday Catalogue Sneak Peek

Hello lovely friends.

Graphic

For this week's Heart of Christmas we have a sneak peek from the 2017 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue which commences in just 3 weeks! I sat down with this stamp set called Every Good Wish, and planned to make just one card, but it was so fun to play with I ended up making 6, so I am making great progress on my 2017 Christmas cards.

This is a stand alone stamp set (i.e. doesn't have a stamp set and Thinlits set which match), and perfect for multiple cards. I did some single layer cards, and also some a bit more embellished like these ones in Sweet Sugarplum.

For this first card, it's just some very simple stamping in Sweet Sugarplum and Old Olive, and some silver embellishments in the way of Rhinestone Jewels (the smallest ones are perfect for the berries), silver metallic edged ribbon (LOVE this ribbon and it also comes in very vanilla with gold edging which is just as beautiful!) and the silver metallic thread.

For my second card, I stamped the image in Sweet Sugarplum, but the Holly in Smoky Slate this time. For my embellishments I have used some of the Merry Music patterned paper in the upcoming Holiday Catalogue, some of the silver edged ribbon, rhinestone jewels and silver metallic thread again. I have used some Soft Sky cardstock to mat my image and to cut some snowflake embellishments using the Colourful Seasons Thinlits.

Now it's time to see what the lovely Art with Heart girls have been up to for Heart of Christmas this week.

Don't forget you can also ask myself or any of these ladies for a copy of the brand new 2017 Holiday Catalogue too.

Gorgeous! You've been so productive ... well done, on getting so many Christmas cards made already. Thanks for the inspiration with this beautiful stamp set. :)

Such pretty cards Claire and I love the colours you have used. I can hardly wait for my pre-order to arrive with some Christmas goodies, especially the Merry Music DSP! :)

A different colour combination for Christmas, but it really works!!! I hadn't Ben noticed this stamp set in the catalogue, so thanks for sharing 😉

Tina Gillespie

Beautiful cards, but I especially love the second one! I've completely overlooked the stamp set in the Holiday catalogue, so I will have to go back and take a closer look.
