Art with Heart Team Stampin Up Heart of Christmas 2017: Week 3

Graphic

Oopsy. It's Thursday not Wednesday for Stampin' Up! Heart of Christmas 2017 this week. My lovely Art with Heart team girls were all ready for Wednesday, but I have a rough parenting week with kids being awake overnight, and with the long weekend thought yesterday was still Tuesday!! At least I'm human right?

I love how this week's card turned out though. I really like how the new Tranquil Tide comes together with Real Red and Shimmery White. This little reindeer is from Santa's Sleigh Thinlits (page 214 in the Annual Catalogue or click on the link at the bottom of the page). These are super versatile Thinlits for Christmas. The background stamping is rom Lovely as a Tree.

This is definitely a Christmas card you could make multiples of. My advice would be to die cut all the pieces beforehand and make an assembly line. If you ddn't want to use the Incolour felt bows, you could use ribbon or twine to cut down the cost. I wove a little silver metallic thread around mine too. I also wanted to point out the border punch at the top of the card. This is a brand new punch and actually has two different edges: a small scallop and the lace edge. I think I'm going to use this a lot!

There's so much to love about this card Claire, but the little bow on the sparkly reindeer is just the perfect finishing touch. And I love the new border punch!

Love this card Claire and will definitely be using my reindeer stamp set and the trees. Hope all is well in OZ and I send my best greetings. 26% over here in Kent supposedly getting warmer over the weekend. Off to Surrey tomorrow to see my eldest granddaughter go off to her Senior school Prom. Have made her a nice card and bought her a Pandora charm for her bracelet. Sunday off to a first communion so busy weekend for us.

Much love, Jessie x

Tina Gillespie

oooh, lovely! I think Tranquil Tide is a bit overlooked as an In Colour, but the more I use it the more I love it!

Kate Morgan

Gorgeous card Claire and yes, that border punch will be used heaps by me too, love it!
