Stampin' Up! Year of Cheer DSP for Art with Heart team Heart of Christmas #25

Hello ladies, it's time to bring you this week's Heart of Christmas inspiration piece.

Graphic

Today my card is based on the foiled specialty paper Year of Cheer. This is a beautiful paper for Christmas and has silver, platinum, gold and copper foiling through it.  My greeting is from the Hearts Come Home stamp set and is embossed in Copper to match the small piece of Year of Cheer DSP underneath. The base card is Crumb Cake.

The largest circle is cut from Platinum foil paper (in the Holiday Catalogue) with the 2 & 1/4" punch and the smaller circle which has the greeting on it is cut with the 1 & 3/4" circle punch. Other than that it's just a bit of silver mini sequin trim.

Stampin' Up! Snowflake Sentiments for Art With Heart team HOC 24

Hello ladies. Today the Art with Heart Team is bringing you week 24 of Heart of Christmas.

Graphic

Today's card is created using the Snowflake Sentiments bundle from the 2017 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue. I really like the simplicity of this card.

Stampin Up Snowflake Sentiments stamp set and Swirly Snowflakes Thinlits. Christmas card by Claire Daly, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Melbourne Australia.

Before I cut the snowflakes, I created a watercolour wash using Pool Party and Island Indigo ink on watercolor paper. Once it was throughly dry (with the help of my trusty heat tool), I cut the snowflakes from pieces which had variations in colour (tip: the biggest snowflake is from the border die piece and 'detached' with paper snips). Then it was just a matter of attaching them with a glue dot and embellishing with Glimmer Dots and adhesive Rhinestones. My greeting from Snowflake Sentiments is heat embossed in silver.

Stampin' Up! Quilted Christmas and Hearts Come Home quick and easy Christmas cards.

We're into the home stretch for Christmas cards now, and sometimes you just need some really quick and easy cards. That is what today's post is all about.

The Quilted Christmas Designer Paper was my favourite paper in the 2017 Holiday Catalogue. I particularly liked the pages with the triangles, as they reminded me of little trees. I really liked the colours in this paper pack too, as it allowed me to bring some of the softer coordinating colours into my cards.

HOC 25a

You could basically use any ling Christmas greeting you have, but I have used the greeting from the Hearts Come Home stamp set. I hear embossed the greeting in silver, and used silver stars from the Metallic Enamel shapes for the tops of the 'trees'. The cardstock colours I have used on the outer two layers of the card are Pool Party and Blushing bride.

HOC 25b

Here's a closer look at the Quilted Christmas Designer Series Paper. There are 48 sheets in the pack, 12 designs with 4 of double sided design. This is the double sided design I used for these cards, which shows the coordinating colours of Blushing Bride, Garden Green, Lemon Lime Twist, Pool Party, Real Red and Whisper White.

Check out the end of the post for the details of all the products I have used on today's cards.
