Happy Friday lovelies .....
Stamped invitations with Stampin' Up!

A boy's Stampin' Up! layout with Travel Journal DSP ....

Here I am back with that layout I have now finished.

As soon as I saw this Stampin' Up! Travel Journal DSP (with matching Sentimental Journey stamp set), I had this layout in mind. I just love this quote from Dr Seuss. Then I took this lovely photo of Sam which was just what I needed to finish the page.

Oh the Places Youll Go

The quote I have used is

"Congratulations, today is your day. You're off to great places, you're off and away. You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose."

The whole passage that this quote came from was read at a wedding I attended last year. It is a great reading for a wedding don't you think?

Here's a run down of the Stampin' Up! supplies I used on this page:

  • Travel Journal DSP
  • Night of Navy, Whisper White and Pumpkin Pie cardstock
  • Mini Vintage Tags
  • Just Right Alpha Stamps (perfect size for these tags!)
  • Pumpkin Pie brad
  • Early Espresso Buttons
  • Scallop Trim Punch
  • Modern Label Punch
  • Linen Thread (for button)
  • Soft Suede ink (for inking the edges - the perfect brown for an aged look!)

Didn't get to finish the cards today, but they are on my plans for Sunday so I'll be back soon. Have a fabulous weekend,

Claire

Fantastic photo of Sam, and what a great idea to use Dr Seuss. The quote is perfect for so many situations.
